Queen of Pawns Highlights, West Palm Beach

Queen of PAWNS calls home, the town of the beautiful, sunny, breezy, and culturally bursting West Palm Beach area in South Florida. The first store we opened in 1995 on South Military Drive in Lake Worth and we do know just how lucky we are to be part of such a unique ecosystem of shopping, art, dining, entertainment and great people.

Lake Worth is in Palm Beach County and is just moments west of the city Palm Beach. As the name of the city suggests, the beach is literally right there and is perfectly situated 175 miles east of Orlando,76 miles north of Miami Beach, 50 miles north of Fort Lauderdale and 136 miles to the south of Cocoa Beach. In addition to easy access to salt water fishing, boating and water sports, West Palm Beach or WPB for short, is host to a large selection of exciting things to do.

Some of the great outdoor activities include amazing tennis courts and epic golf courses. For the equestrian enthusiast, just west of the beaches is the Palm Beach Polo and Players Club where the world famous Winter Equestrian Festival, the Global Dressage Festival and over 40 weeks a year of equestrian competitions take place.

WPB is one of the great places to expand your art exposure. One place being the Norton Museum of Art where you’ll find the largest art museum in Florida. They also organize traveling exhibits. The permanent collection features 19th and 20th century European and American art, Chinese, contemporary art and photography. The museum also hosts an event called Art After Dark every Thursday, when admission is half off regular price.

The annual SunFest also takes place in our home town and is also host to where top music acts perform right on the Intracoastal waterway. The annual Palm Beach International Film Festival held every April also attracts star spangled talent every year.

Our neighbors include CityPlace, Clematis street - which comes complete with a free, weekly outdoor event with food and live music appropriately called, Clematis by Night and antique shopping down Antique Row along Dixie Highway are where you go to start your shopping.

As for the best selection and prices in the West Palm Beach area, that would have to be Queen of PAWNS’ three locations. Come see what the best of the east coast of Florida has to offer!

Queen of Pawns Highlights Orlando & Kissimmee

Queen of PAWNS loves Orlando and Kissimmee in Central Florida! Orlando is referred to as the “Theme Park Capital of the World,” with the popular attractions Disney World, Universal Studios, Epcot Center, and SeaWorld. Not only are there theme parks, other greats in the area include themed dinner theaters, outdoor activities, swamp tours, fantastic fresh water angling (see Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
for more information), and of course, SHOPPING!

This area is about an hour’s drive from epic beaches such as Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach and hosts the most comfortable weather generally between 70-80 degrees for most of the year. Because of this, Orlando attracts more than 51 million tourists per year. It is also home to the University of Central Florida.

You may live in the Kissimmee/Orlando area, or are just “passing through,” in any case make Queen of PAWNS a destination not to be missed. We have stores in both cities, with the Orlando location nick-named as our “Mega Store.”
