The final travel holiday of the summer is soon here. Like a golden, juicy orange - be sure to squeeze every last drop of summer fun you can. Labor Day weekend is August 31st through September 2nd this year.
Originally, the holiday was created in recognition of labor union workers. Today, as you know, labor unions are less the center of attention for the holiday as Labor Day has come to be more the final marker for the end of summer. It’s one last hurrah before the events of fall, including back to school and football season. Labor Day has also come to be a great opportunity for retailers to host huge sales events and for shoppers to reap the benefits. Queen of PAWNS will be having a Labor Day sale of our own. Since all our stores will be closed for the holiday (September 2nd), we will be hosting our Tent Sales Event on Saturday, August 31st during regular business hours. All locations will have a tent sale highlighting closeout prices on tools.
